The RIA Novosti group has released a new photo application for iPad “In the Lens”, which can be downloaded for free in the AppStore app store.

Unlike all mobile news applications, this is the first application that provides access exclusively to the unique photo content of RIA Novosti.”In the Lens” is a software product that will allow iPad users to interactively view and share the most up-to-date and colorful exclusive photos of RIA Novosti according to the version of the Joint News Editorial Office and the editorial office of RIA Novosti photo information.

  Thanks to three chronological presentation modes — photos of the current day, a retrospective show for the week and photo tapes dedicated to the current day in history — the application allows the user to easily create a photo picture of the day and see rare archival photos.Having three chronological sections: a day, a week and a historical reference by date, the application allows the user to independently form a visual agenda.

  The position of the photofilms is freely adjustable at the user’s request. Each snapshot has a corresponding brief description. Every day, users “In the lens” will be offered from seven to 20 photofilms reflecting the most significant events of the day. Two of the most spectacular photofilms of the current day will be sent to the archive of yesterday.
