The Business Day, held at the DigitalOctober Technology Center, hosted the presentation of the Mobile Shark 2013 award in the categories “Start of the Year”, “Game of the Year”, “Business Application of the Year”, “Product of the Year”, “Outsourcing Company of the Year”. The jury of Mobile Shark 2013 included representatives of Google, Samsung, Content review, Afisha-Rambler-SUP, Sberbank, Digital October, etc.

In the nomination “Game of the Year”, the victory was awarded to the strategy “Mushroom War”. When choosing the winner, the jury evaluated the originality of the gameplay, the viral growth of the user base, as well as the quality of graphics.

The Mushroom War was released by i-Free, a leading Russian publisher of mobile games and apps, in early 2013. Just a few weeks after its release, the game entered the TOP 5 of the best Apple App Store games and apps in the USA and the TOP 5 of the best strategies in 92 countries. Only in the first three months of sales, the number of downloads of the “Mushroom Wars” in the Apple App Store exceeded 1 million.

After the success of the “Mushroom War” at Mobile Shark 2013, i-Free and Creat Studios announce the imminent release of the second part of the game. In version 2.0. the action is transferred to space, where the mushroom men – the main characters of the game went in the final video of the single-player campaign of the first part of the “Mushroom War”.

In the second part, players will have to unite conflicting planets, which will require going through a new campaign and getting acquainted with all the diversity of flora and architecture of stellar bodies. In version 2.0. the multiplayer mode will be improved. The planned start of sales is March 2014.
