Monster Mind is a colorful logic puzzle based on the famous board game Mastermind and its “school” version — the game Bulls and Cows.
The player’s goal is to pick up or guess a sequence of animated images of monsters in several attempts, analyzing hints and making rational conclusions from previous attempts.
Despite its sufficient simplicity, in comparison with modern 3D games produced by large companies, the game turned out to be extremely fascinating, addictive, with a pleasant interface and wonderful soundtracks.
The rules are quite simple, but with each level it becomes more difficult: the number of monsters increases, and then the fun begins.
Out of 6 consecutive levels, already on the 3rd – “Sinister” – you will need to guess a unique combination of 4 monsters, where it will take a lot of effort to find solutions in a certain number of attempts.
In order to find the right answer, it is necessary to follow the prompts that were given in all previous attempts without fail. Conflicting decisions can lead to the inability to find the correct sequence in the allotted number of attempts. However, the decision process can be approached using various strategies, so it will be exciting to compete with friends for a while and share your achievements, setting new records.
The game can be downloaded for free, while using the in-app purchase, you can disable banner ads and use additional features that expand and complicate the game conditions. For example, for experienced players, the secret code can be complicated by repetitions.
The developers of the game – the Russian company Anyway Labs – decided to use a completely new approach in creating mobile applications: the game was developed on “pure” web technologies: HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3, and subsequently integrated into the iOS environment using the Phonegap framework. This also allows it to be easily integrated into any other mobile application environment (Android, Windows 8, Mac, Safari, Chrome, and so on).
