– Saint Petersburg, Russia – i–Free Company is once again a partner and sponsor of Web Ready, an international competition of innovative projects in the field of mobile and Internet technologies. The final of the competition, in which the winners will be determined, will be held on November 29 in the Skolkovo Hypercube (Moscow).For many years, i-Free has been supporting industry conferences and competitions addressed to startups and teams developing promising projects and products based on mobile technologies.
As last year, i-Free became a partner of Web Ready, contributing to the prize fund of the contest.
In addition, the head of the Investment Project Management of i-Free company, Georgy Zamyshlyaev, was a member of the Startup nomination jury, in addition, i-Freeventures will also be represented at VC Corner, a specialized session of meetings of project managers with investors.This year the Web Ready competition has broken the records of previous years in the number of projects:
716 applications were submitted from 100 cities and 21 countries. The competition is held in three main categories: Seed – for projects that do not yet have revenue, Startup – for projects that are monetized and set scaling tasks, Growth – for projects that have already achieved some success. The finalists of the competition will have the opportunity to make a presentation on the main stage of Web Ready in front of representatives of 70 investment funds, business angels, mentors, heads of IT companies, development institutes and media representatives.
The prize fund this year will be 1.5 million rubles.Commenting on the cooperation with Web Ready, Georgy Zamyshlyaev, Head of the Investment Projects Department at i-Free, said: “The competition is getting bigger every year, and more and more new, promising projects are taking part in it.
