– Saint Petersburg, Russia – i-Free Company, as the organizer of the 10th MobileVAS&AppsConference, announces the jury of the RussianMobileAwards’ 2013 award, which is taking place in the frames of the conference.This year, each nomination of the competition will be evaluated by a separate jury consisting of reputable industry experts.
Projects, products and services based on mobile technologies created in Russia and CIS countries are accepted for the Russian Mobile Awards (RMA) competition. Developers are invited to participate, as well as companies that own mobile services and products.
This year the award will be awarded in 6 categories: “Best mobile game”, “Best non-gaming application”, “Best Mobile Service”, “Best SMS service”, “Best mobile service using mobile and offline payments” and “Best Startup”. Applications are accepted until October 25.
Commenting on RMA-2013, Ekaterina Ivanova, Head of i-Free Events and head of the conference organizing committee, stressed: “We want to collect the brightest products based on mobile technologies, and every developer from Russia and the CIS can submit their project to the competition. For our part, we guarantee that the best will really win: this year the jury of each nomination consists of recognized experts, and the evaluation parameters of the competitive works are transparent and understandable.”

The vote will be secret. The jury evaluates the entries according to three parameters using a 10-point scale. The score is set separately for each parameter. Then all the points are summed up, divided by the number of jury members who evaluated the project, and the overall average score is assigned to the project.
If a project or product of a company in which one of the jury members of this nomination works is presented in the nomination, this jury member does not participate in the evaluation of this competitive work.
Five projects that received the maximum average score will advance to the final of the competition – TOP 5.Then the jury will select the winner in each nomination by secret ballot. The names of the winners will be announced at a ceremony on November 21 at 19 o’clock, on the first day of the 10th MobileVAS&AppsConference.
