On August 8-10, 2013, a Hackathon on mobile application development will be held in Odessa as part of Mobile Developer Day with the support of Provectus IT.
The Hackathon format implies that the participating teams are working on the implementation of one of their ideas, and after 40 hours they present the result – a new mobile application.During the work, teams can receive individual consultations from experienced employees of large companies and investors on the functionality, design and proper presentation of projects at the demo session.
In conclusion, the jury determines the best team and project, participants receive prizes.
The main thing in the Hackathon is the developer’s challenge to himself, a platform for testing ideas and hypotheses, as well as, of course, a “fan”: 2 days and 1 night of immersion in an unusual environment together with other teams.
This year, the teams will work on the roof of the Provectus IT company with a sea view.
Odessa Hackathon will bring together the best mobile application developers, freelancers and designers who are ready to test their strength.Participation is free.
However, after the presentation of ideas, only 7 teams will be selected. The selection will take place on the evening of August 8 at the Londonskaya Hotel, as part of the Mobile Developer Day conference program. The Hackathon final will be held on August 10 at the AppClub {build, monetize} meeting.
