The Fruit Ninja title from Halfbrick celebrates its fifth anniversary and the first billion downloads. The authors of the game told about this on the official website of the studio.
The game, in which players chop fruit at speed, was released in 2010. In fact, it was released in April (iOS) and December (Android). But Halfbrick chose to celebrate the anniversary right now, because on August 6 it became known that the game was downloaded 1 billion times.
In honor of the anniversary of the event, the project will receive an update. A single-player competition mode will appear in the game. Users will fight with one of six AI-controlled characters. Fans will be presented with six additional mini-games and in-game currency – hard and soft.
The project has become one of the “long-livers” of the mobile industry. Of the titles that are still on the rumor, only the first Angry Birds, which recently turned 6 years old, can argue with him.
