The Russian developer of casual games Realore today wants to talk about its successful cooperation with Microsoft and the experience of releasing games on Windows 8.
The first project was released in the fall of 2012 from the very opening of the Windows Store (Windows Store).
Over the entire period of cooperation, 8 games were released and more than 500,000 downloads were received.
The most popular were two farm simulator games “Jane’s Farm” http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/app/farm-up/eb 78 a 78 d-52 A 4-4 c 3 f-9 fda–e 762 bdb 6334 f
and time management strategy “Tales of the North” http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/ru-RU/app/northern-tale/da 47 cf 23-3 da 6-4 d 48-b 55 a-6 ffd 8 e 4 a 41 c 5, released at the end of December 2012.
In the near future, the company plans to release its other successful projects, such as the “Roads of Rome” and “Jet Trains” series.
Realore employees warmly speak about Microsoft managers who helped in the release of games. “We were provided with a person who provided support and answered any questions that arose. A huge plus turned out to be that a familiar tool is used for development – Visual Studio and the language – we used C# and C++,” says Dmitry Baidalinov, lead programmer of Realore.
Realore hopes for the further development of the Windows 8 platform and for a long-term relationship with Microsoft.
“We are glad that Windows 8 and the Windows Store have opened up new opportunities for Russian developers, including the authors of popular games. We are very pleased with the success of our partners from Realore and hope that their new games will continue to delight Windows users around the world,” said Mikhail Chernomordikov, Head of the Strategic Technology Experts Department.
