www.igexpo.euFrom January 31 to February 2, 2013, the first International Conference and Exhibition of the gaming industry “INTERGAME 2013” will be held in two exhibition halls of Eesti Näitused in Tallinn!
This is the first time an event of such a plan and scale has been held in Estonia.
The conference will be attended by about 200 figures of the gaming industry, who will be addressed by leading experts from Estonia, Finland, Russia, Germany and other European countries. At the exhibition, visitors will be presented with an exposition of entertainment products, video games, a 5D cinema, board games and much more.
The concept of the event “INTERGAME 2013” is to create a platform for bringing together professionals working in the gaming industry. This area is developing very rapidly all over the world, and Estonia can take a prominent place in it. Estonia’s rapid development in the IT field makes it increasingly attractive to international investors. It was in Estonia that the first European incubator for novice game developers Gamefounders appeared, in cooperation with which the organization “INTERGAME 2013” is being organized. This year, the Danish company BetaDwarf Entertainment, working in the gaming industry, moved to Estonia, motivating this decision by the fact that it was here that it found the resources it needed, as well as substantial support for Gamefounders.
The conference held within the framework of this project, moderated by the Secretary General of the European Federation of Game Developers Malte Bermann, will become a platform for the exchange of experience of leading industry specialists. The conference is intended for specialists whose activities are related to video/PC/online/mobile games.
The conference program includes a “Pitching Competition”, where the owners of innovative ideas will have a chance to present their projects to potential investors. The exhibition of gaming products is a place where companies can declare themselves and bring their goods and services from the entertainment sector to the consumer, providing an opportunity to get acquainted with the exhibits directly. Various show programs and contests are expected at the exhibition, and Triobet Company organizes a poker tournament.
The project is organized by Larssen Capital’s subsidiary North Expo Marketing, a company engaged in exhibition activities. The IGExpo project manager is the founder of the first international luxury exhibition in Kiev, Luxury Temptation, which was successfully held in 2008.
