The creators of top mobile apps, including the authors of Angry Birds and Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, have teamed up as part of Apple’s holiday campaign to raise funds for the AIDS foundation.
A special section of the App Store called (RED) will offer users exclusive content from the authors of the best-selling games over the next two weeks. For example, the Mighty Feathers option and a bonus level will appear in Angry Birds. Clash of Clans will start selling special red crystals, and Monument Valley will have a thematic chapter available.
The GarageBand app also participates in the campaign with a collection of new tunes dedicated to the campaign.
In addition, Apple promised that part of the funds received by the corporation from retail and online trade on November 28 and December 1 will also go to the disease control fund. These two dates – “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday” – in America are traditionally the days of the biggest pre-holiday discounts and the most active sales.
The funds raised during the campaign will go to the account of the charity organization Global Fund, whose organizer is the lead singer of the group U2 Bono (Bono). All of them will be used to fight AIDS.
