Investors love Finnish studios. Helsinki-based developer Reworks has raised $4.3 million for its debut project. A year ago, another $1.5 million was invested in it.
Reworks is a Finnish startup, opened in 2018 by people from the Sumoing studio. The latter created the popular Recolor coloring game for mobile platforms.
Reworks itself has launched a mobile architectural design simulator Redecor today. Investments will be spent on its development, the creation of in-game content and the development of a studio engine.
Note that the funds EQT Ventures and Play Ventures participated in the last round of financing.
This is just one of the latest investments in Finnish game dev. This month, large sums were received by Nitro Games studios ($4.5 million) and Lightheart Entertainment ($1.5 million).
