A major player in the car-sharing market is ready to invest $ 100 million in mobile studios from Russia, the CIS and the EU. For this purpose, the Mikro Kapital fund with a majority stake in Delimobile has created a subsidiary company — Plantago Capital.
Already this year, Plantago Capital is ready to invest $40 million in small mobile developers. Single investments will amount to at least $ 50 thousand. According to Plantago, that’s how much a mobile studio needs to buy traffic and develop one project.
Mikro Capital’s “daughter” does not claim a percentage of revenue from games or a share in studios. However, it will provide funds for use under a commission. Plantago will determine its size based on the parameters of the declared game — for example, its monetization mechanics and the framework of the life cycle.
Mikro Kapital is a Luxembourg—based fund that controls not only Delimobile, but also Anytime carsharing. The size of the fund reaches almost $650 million, according to vc.ru .
