The ironSource marketing company continues to expand. Now she has acquired Luna Labs, a startup that specializes in services for creating interactive advertising and videos for mobile applications.

The price and terms of the transaction remained unknown, according to PocketGamer. But according to Omer Kaplan, the head of ironSource, thanks to this takeover, his company will be able to build a universal business platform for developers.

We want to provide mobile developers with all the tools they need to turn content into a scalable business. Advertising — plays an increasingly important role as competition for users' attention increases. Luna Labs allows developers to independently create, manage and optimize ads, and we are happy to add this feature to our platform.

Kaplan also noted that the Luna Labs team will remain in the current offices, where they will develop their technologies already “under the auspices of ironSource.” All startup projects will continue to be available as separate products.

To date, Luna Labs is developing four advertising creation services. The most famous of them is Luna Playable. It allows mobile game developers to create commercials directly in Unity.

The startup cooperates with many studios and publishers, including King, Crazy Labs, Supersonic Studios, Lion Studios, Kwalee and Voodoo.

Luna Labs was the second acquisition for ironSource this year. A month earlier, a marketing company bought the SOOMLA analytical platform for an unknown amount.
