According to the Bankier business portal, as part of the deal, Huuuge and Picadilla also signed an additional agreement for $ 100 thousand.
This amount will be used to pay for consultations and game support within 12 months from the date of purchase of the title.
The main payment ($38.9 million) will take place in three stages:
- Huuuge must transfer $9.5 million to the authors of Traffic Puzzle no later than 10 days after signing the contract;
- Picadilla will receive $25 million within 15 days after transferring assets;
- the remaining $ 4.4 million will go to the developers of the title only a year after the conclusion of the deal.
Previously, Huuuge was the publisher of Traffic Puzzle, but now it will receive full rights to the game and related assets.
According to the head of the company Anton Gauffin, with the help of this purchase, Huuuge will be able to increase its presence in the casual games segment. This is one of the important strategic goals of the publisher.
Gauffin also noted that the purchase of Traffic Puzzle takes place as part of the diversification of the company’s gaming portfolio. As the head of Huuuge suggests, over time, the title will become the third largest project of the company, second only to the flagship Huuuge Casino and Billionaire Casino.
Nevertheless, John Bellamy, vice president of Huuuge, noted that the game will pay off the deal and begin to bring net profit no earlier than 2022.
The worldwide release of Traffic Puzzle took place in June 2019, and now the game continues to grow actively. For example, in 2020, the number of daily active users (DAU) in it doubled compared to 2019, and revenue tripled. At the moment, on average, Traffic Puzzle earns $12.9 thousand per day. Her March income was $1.2 million.
The game is now available in the App Store, Google Play and Amazon Appstore.
