The Canadian publisher Graffiti Games, specializing in small and easily recouped titles, received investments of $ 1.5 million. This amount will be spent on publishing games from independent developers.Blue Fire

GamesBeat reports that the money came from private investors.

According to the CEO of the company Alex Josef, this also increased the valuation of Graffiti Games to $ 4.5 million.

The investments will help the publisher to increase its liquidity, as well as allocate additional budgets for marketing and purchase of third-party projects.

Over the three years of its activity, Graffiti Games has published 10 games, including 23 versions for different platforms. Now the company employs only seven people.

The last successful project of the publisher was the platformer Blue Fire from the Argentine studio Robi Studios. Released in February, the game took the sixth place in the Nintendo eShop bestseller chart and came in first place in the popular new products section on Steam. This made it possible to fully cover the development costs for the first day after the release.

Graffiti Games’ revenue for 2020 increased by 10% year-on-year, and the number of copies of its games sold exceeded 200 thousand. The company intends to continue to cooperate with small teams, investing several hundred thousand dollars in each project.
