According to the CEO of Murka Games, Barak David, with the help of this takeover, the company hopes to strengthen its position in the casual games market.
It is assumed that the purchase will increase the DAU of Murka Games to one million people. A significant part of this figure will fall on casual projects.
David also noted that now the companies are going to pay more attention to the joint promotion of games. For example, to begin with, they will try to attract more American users to Solitaire Deluxe 2, a game developed by Mobile Deluxe and published by Murka Games.
“I think that Solitaire Deluxe 2 will be able to significantly increase the audience thanks to our automatic betting technology. This purchase should accelerate the growth of Murka Games in the casual and skill—based games market,” commented David.
Mobile Deluxe was founded in 2003. Since then, she has developed ten games, the most famous of which are Solitaire Deluxe 2, Sudoku Deluxe and Big Win Slots. They were published by Murka.
Murka Games itself opened in 2009. Initially, the company specialized in social casinos, but then expanded its portfolio with casual games. For example, Braindoku and Wordelicious titles. Last year, Murka Games took the tenth place in the ranking of the most profitable casino game developers. Its revenue for the 2020 fiscal year reached $127 million, which is 44.6% more than in 2019.
