Last weekend, the Estonian studio ZA/UM opened a temporary clothing store in London. It is dedicated to the world and heroes of Disco Elysium. One of the main items of the collection, the bomber of Kim Kitsuragi’s character, was sold out almost instantly. And this is despite the rather high price tag of €399.

The store in central London opened on July 30. Such places are designed for dedicated fans and usually work for only a few days. The ZA/UM boutique will only accept visitors from Thursday to Saturday.

Inside, fans can buy merch on Disco Elysium, including T-shirts, mugs, prints and several “secret” goods. The most desirable item for visitors was the bomber of the character Kim Kitsuragi, the partner of the main character.

Previously, the jacket was presented as part of the ZA/UM Atelier collection at a price of €399/£313 (about 30 thousand rubles). Despite the fact that the store had all the sizes of the limited item, they were sold out in a matter of minutes.

New batches also did not linger on the counter for a long time. This was also written by the fans themselves, who were unable to purchase the desired thing.

The opening of the store also coincided with a small initiative from Russian ZA/UM fans. On August 2, an exhibition dedicated to Zine by Disco Elysium opened at the Comics Library in St. Petersburg.

“Thirty works by artists in a large format, atmospheric music and our beloved communism,” wrote Volga Kapitonova, community manager of the Russian—speaking ZA/UM community.

The fan collection with the subtitle Russian Alternative Universe Zine transfers the action of the game to Russian realities. The 46-page zine was released in May and is available to view online. At the exhibition, it will be possible to see the works of artists live and in a large format.
