By the end of June 2026, the volume of bets on the legal iGaming market in Ontario, Canada, reached 9.46 billion Canadian dollars or 6.74 billion US dollars, according to the local regulator. This is a 30.3% increase year-on-year and the fifth largest monthly result since the market opened in April 2022.

The Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) of the market, excluding adjustments, also saw a significant rise—up 30.6% to 400.6 million Canadian dollars (285.4 million US dollars).

It is noted that the overwhelming majority of June's GGR in Ontario traditionally came from the online casino segment—alone generating 79% of the total, or 316.8 million Canadian dollars (225.7 million US dollars). This segment was also responsible for the majority of the bets. According to the regulator, bets in Ontario's online casinos amounted to 8.3 billion Canadian dollars (5.9 billion US dollars) for the month, making it the third-largest result in recorded history.

Additionally, the regulator calculated that there were 1.32 million active iGaming player accounts in the province in June, with each spending an average of 304 Canadian dollars (216.6 US dollars) over the month.
