The Belgian gambling market regulator published its annual report, stating that in 2025, the gross income from licensed online gambling in Belgium increased by 5.4% to €965 million. Consequently, the online segment's share of the market reached 59%.

Meanwhile, the influx of new players plummeted. In 2025, 110,032 Belgian residents started playing online gambling games for the first time, which is 43.1% less than in 2024. The regulator attributes the decline to the age restrictions introduced in the country. It is worth noting that in September 2024, Belgian authorities raised the minimum age for participating in gambling from 18 to 21 years.

At the same time, the average number of daily active users of online gambling games increased by 3% to 160,144, and 528,706 people placed at least one online bet in 2025.
