The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has reported the results for April-June 2026. It announced that within three months, the iGaming segment in the country generated 39.9 billion Philippine pesos ($675 million), accounting for 45.2% of the entire market's revenue.
Although this is a substantial amount, it is significantly lower than the previous year, when it was 63.44 billion Philippine pesos ($1.04 billion).
Amid the decline in iGaming revenue, the quarterly revenue for the entire gambling market in the Philippines also fell. According to PAGCOR's calculations, it dropped by 20.3% to 88.13 billion Philippine pesos ($1.45 billion).
Despite the downturn, PAGCOR remains optimistic and believes that the market will return to growth in the future. The regulator assured that it will continue to actively work with gambling companies, as it considers both iGaming and more traditional forms of gambling to be important parts of the Philippine economy.
