Five Chilean iGaming operators — Betano, Betsala, Estelarbet, Juegalo, and Novibet — have announced the launch of the country's industry organization, the Responsible iGaming Association (AGR).

AGR positions itself as a coalition of operators ready to work with the government to create a regulatory model in Chile, drawing on the experiences of other countries. The new association believes that this will ultimately create a safe environment for consumers and equal conditions for companies in the country.

“Online betting has already become a reality in Chile. The absence of regulation or attempts to ban it do not eliminate this activity; they simply push it into the realm of operators who do not comply with standards, do not take responsibility for the outcome, and remain outside of supervision,” stated AGR Executive Director Sandra Kemp.

It is worth noting that Chile has a fairly large iGaming market. According to estimates by H2 Gambling Capital, its annual gross revenue is currently $625 million. It is projected that by 2030, the figure may grow to $1.45 billion.
