Residents of Saudi Arabia have increasingly taken interest in online gambling, despite its prohibition in the country, according to data from the analytical platform Blask. Their estimates indicate that last year, the demand for online gambling in the region surged by 79.4%.
It is reported that the peak of local gamers' interest in online gambling occurred in December. At that time, the Blask index, which reflects demand based on Google search query analysis, reached 1.37 million. For comparison: in November, it was 889.2 thousand, and in October — 484.9 thousand.
In 2026, the figures declined. Specifically, by the end of July 2026, the Blask index for Saudi Arabia was only 432 thousand.
In terms of annual player expenditure in Saudi Arabia, leaders were 1xBet, GrandPashaBet, and Baji. These three companies collectively accounted for $480 million in bets.
