In honor of the successful 2020, Riot Games decided to reward its employees. The company will give all official employees an Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch console to choose from. And she will also transfer them a one-time bonus of at least 10% of their salary.

According to Riot Games, such a reward should help her team get rid of accumulated stress and avoid possible crunches.

“I don’t want to describe how difficult this year was. We all know that he was like nothing else,” Nicolo Laurent, CEO of Riot Games, wrote in his appeal. “But there was also something positive in all these difficulties. The pandemic reminded us how important our approach to work is. While the players constantly fuel our passion to be perfect, we must understand that for successful work we need a well—rested and dedicated team.”

The company decided not to stop paying bonuses. Among other things, Riot Games announced the start of a two-week Christmas vacation, the launch of similar vacations next July—August and a further revision of the entire work schedule (after quarantine, employees will be able to work in the office for three days and from home for two).

In 2020, Riot Games released several new games, including Valorant, League of Legends: Wild Rift and Legends of Runeterra. She also hosted the tenth annual League of Legends Championship.
