Anthony and Joe Russo (Anthony Russo, Joe Russo), who directed the last two parts of “The Avengers”, turned out to be big Fortnite fans. So much so that they even helped Epic Games create the sixth season of the second chapter of the battle royale.

According to Variety, the Russo brothers and their team had a hand in the script, storyboard and staging of the entire season. And at the same time, the directors participated in the work on the introductory trailer for it.

Chief Creative Officer of Epic Games

Russo himself spoke positively about the collaboration with Epic. The brothers stated that Fortnite occupies a unique place in pop culture. And the directors called Mustard “a visionary storyteller who leads everyone through uncharted territories.”

It’s not the first time the Russo brothers have collaborated with Epic. Back in 2018, they offered developers the idea for a Fortnite crossover and the movie “Avengers: Infinity War”. After that, an event was created with Thanos, the main villain of the film.

The sixth season of Fortnite started on March 16. At the moment, the introductory trailer for it has already gained over 5.5 million views on YouTube.
