The original version of the popular Papers Please game for iPad did not get into the App Store: the management considered that the images of the human body in the game did not meet the requirements of the store.
The game was launched on PC last year. In it, the problem of terrorism and the fight against it is presented from an unexpected point of view: the player in the role of an officer of the migration service tries to determine from documents and a scan of a person whether he poses a danger to the country.
It was the scan, that is, a schematic image of the human body obtained using a scanner, that Apple recognized as “pornographic”.
Screenshot from the game Paper PleaseLucas Pope, the author of the game, commented on the company’s decision on Twitter: “There is no option with full nudity in the iPad version at all.”
The iPad version has no full nudity option for the search scanner photos. Apple rejected that build for containing “pornographic content.”
