Studio Build a Rocket Boy, founded by the former president of Rockstar North, has announced a change of engine for its debut game Everywhere. Now, instead of Lumberyard from Amazon, developers will use Unreal Engine.The company said this on Twitter.

“We are excited to announce the use of this powerful technology to create amazing new worlds,” the statement said.

At the same time, the developers did not report the reasons for the rejection of Lumberyard. It is also unknown which version of Unreal Engine Build a Rocket Boy will use.

Earlier, the head of the company Leslie Benzies (Leslie Benzies) raised $ 42 million for the development of Everywhere. Now the studio is actively recruiting new employees in Edinburgh and Budapest.

Little is still known about the project itself. It will be an open-world game in which developers want to give players the opportunity to create their own narrative. There is no trailer or release date for the game yet.
