The final version of the Castaway Paradise title is being prepared for release. The project from the Stolen Couch studio will be launched on iOS on Thursday, October 9.
Castaway Paradise is a simulator in the spirit of Animal Crossing. The player is offered to lead a leisurely life of an islander: fishing, tinkering in the beds, collecting bugs. Time in the project flows at the same speed as in the real world; some events in the game are timed strictly to a certain period of the day or year.
Animal Crossing, a kind of Sims analogue, but with animals, was released on the Nintendo 3DS in 2012. The game was a commercial success. The format of the project is quite suitable for mobile games, so the only thing that remains to be surprised is how the developers have so far overlooked such an idea.
The softlanch of the project on the iPad took place last November. From that moment on, the virtual life simulator game was being finalized. Judging by the discussions on the project’s forum, its creators took user comments seriously and tried to take into account and correct the shortcomings of the original version.
