Singapore-based developer Boomzap has announced a mobile card RPG about monsters under the working title Monster Roller.
The main difference between the title and hundreds of similar ones is that the choice of the card is determined by the slot machine. The monsters that the player fights with have two states. You can switch between them. The character’s condition will affect the result of applying the dropped card.
It should be noted that a card buttler that uses a slot machine is not an invention of Boomzap. In 2013, Konami Studio released a title in the RPG genre with similar game mechanics.
From the point of view of graphics, the game is closer to the “Western” aesthetics. However, the developer reports that the title is not yet focused specifically on any particular market, since the decision on where exactly the game will be launched for the first time has not yet been made.
