Terra Battle has been downloaded 1 million times

The number of downloads of the game Terra Battle has reached 1 million.

The debut mobile title from the co-creator of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi and his studio Mistwalker studio launched on October 9. The game was launched with the help of the Download Starter campaign, in which a certain number of downloads gives users access to all new levels, characters, and so on.

Sakaguchi was inspired to create the campaign by the Kickstarter project.

“I decided to create a [Kickstarter] option where downloads are rewarded directly,” Sakaguchi said.

 

 

GAMASUTRAThe milestone of 1 million downloads not only means that players will receive all the rewards due to them (for example, new melodies and even a live music concert dedicated to the game), but also that Mistwalker studio will be able to further develop the project.

The studio promised to start working on the console version of the title when the number of downloads reaches 2 million.
