A project called Starband Troopers is being prepared for release. Indie studio Brownie Interactive promises users an unexpected combination of the genres of “roguelike”, RPG and musical game.
The title in the sci-fi setting will offer the player to fight with the help of instruments and music. The levels are generated randomly, so each of them will be different from the previous one.
The gameplay of the game reminded us of Elite Beat Agents, which was released on the Nintendo DS.
The project is still raising money. Its creators, two, as they call themselves, “game industry veterans from Hong Kong,” are confident that it will be able to launch by the New Year.
