Kabam has announced the release date of a new game based on the “Star Wars” universe. Star Wars: Uprising will be released on iOS and Android on Thursday, September 10.

Recall that the plot of the game will unfold between the events of the films “Episode VI: Return of the Jedi” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”. The player will get at his disposal a hero from the “Star Wars” universe or create his own character. Users are promised single-player missions, large-scale battles with many characters and a multiplayer mode.
It is already known that Star Wars: Uprising will be a shareware game. According to the developers, there will be no paywall in it. It is monetized at the expense of “time and the competitive element”.
The developer of the game was Kabam RPG Studio in San Francisco. Its senior director and lead game designer is Daniel Erickson. He has already worked on a project on the “Star Wars” universe. Star Wars: The Old Republic was launched with his direct participation.
Alex Freed will take part in the project. He previously worked for BioWare as a screenwriter, and also wrote the script for the comic book on “Star Wars”, which was published by Dark Horse publishing.
