At the end of May, SberGames and Soyuzmultfilm agreed to make mobile educational games for children together. They have recently published their first projects, and now they have reported on the results.
So far, the companies have four games on their account: “Coloring book with an Orange Cow”, “Mini-games with an Orange cow”, “Three in a row with heroes from Prostokvashino” and “Puzzles with a Zebra in a cage”.
All titles are free. There are also no in-game purchases, subscriptions, and ads. According to the developers, their main task was to create games that would help children develop important skills. For example, logical and associative thinking, fine motor skills and numerical literacy. To do this, the developers consulted with neuropsychologists, psychophysiologists and other experts.
Now these games are available in the App Store and Google Play. But in the SmartMarket, the store “Sber”, they are not. When they will appear there and whether they will appear — the companies did not specify.
In two weeks since the release, all four titles based on the animated series from Soyuzmultfilm have collected a total of 50 thousand downloads. How many downloads each particular game got is not specified.
Separately, the companies noted that their games were nominated for the Golden Bear 2021 award in the field of goods and services for children.
Recall that SberGames is a gaming direction in the “Sber” ecosystem. Its launch became known this April. The company develops games for Soyuzmultfilm within the framework of the Useful Games program. As of July, there were 15 children’s projects in the pipeline.
