Recently, a mobile version of Godus, a new game by the veteran of the gaming industry Peter Molyneux, author of the Dungeon Keeper, Fable and Black & White series, appeared in the App Store.
Godus is a modern reinterpretation of the game Populous (1989), which brought Molyneux popularity. The player, changing the landscape, helps his people to defeat enemy tribes.
The project, for the creation of which more than £500,000 was raised on Kickstarter, appeared on Steam in September last year as a beta version (“early access games”). Actually, he is still at this stage. You can get access to the PC version of the project for 419 rubles.
The mobile version, which was published by Mobage (a subsidiary of DeNA), is distributed under the free-to-play model.
