Android Card Board Game: Netrunner will be released on mobile devices as an RPG. The script for the game will be written by Meg Yant (Meg Jayanth), who worked on the plot of the game 80 days.
The author of the mobile adaptation will be the Legacy Games team. According to studio executives, they are not going to adapt the gameplay of the original for mobile. Instead, they will create an RPG based on the Netrunner universe. At the same time, the studio is going to transfer the characters and art of the game as close as possible to the original source.
The main storyline for the game will be written by Meg Yant. She worked as a screenwriter on the successful mobile project 80 days from inkle. For the game, Yant received the prize of the British Writers Guild (UK Writer’s Guild).
