Zoom has acquired the rights to the MegaRace racing and fighting franchise. It will restart the series on smartphones and tablets, as well as a number of other platforms.
The MegaRace series was released from the early 90s to the early 2000s (a total of three titles were released under this IP). The game was dedicated to deadly car racing. The main task of the gamer was the destruction of all opponents on the track.
Jordan Freeman Group (a subsidiary of Zoom) is going to not only restart the old games on mobile platforms, but also create a new part. However, the release of the latter will depend not on the success of the re-release of the original parts, but on the results of the crowdfunding campaign on the IndieGoGo platform.
Now Zoom is busy restarting another old game on the PC — the adventure project Mr. Travel.
