The Encased role-playing game, developed by the St. Petersburg studio Dark Crystal Games, has enlisted the support of the publisher Koch Media. Thanks to this, the project, which draws inspiration from the first two Fallout, will also receive a release on consoles. The partnership with Koch Media will allow Dark Crystal Games to release the final version of Encased next year simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The publisher will also help developers add full voice acting and localization into several languages to the game.

“It was impossible to pull such a scale alone, we are glad that even more people around the world will be able to play Encased,” said Artem Korovkin, manager of Dark Crystal Games.

Encased is an RPG in the post-apocalypse setting, which has been in early access since last fall. As sources of inspiration, the developers name the first two parts of Fallout, Divinity: Original Sin and Baldur’s Gate.
