The project will be dedicated to one of the Marvel characters and should become a “real role-playing game” for mobile devices, representatives of the companies say.
“Marvel heroes are some of the most beloved and recognizable in the history of entertainment,” said Kent Wakeford, executive director of Kabam. “The company continues to release one box office hit after another, and we are looking forward to bringing the Marvel universe to a mobile game.”
VENTUREBEATWhat kind of hero will appear in the title is still unknown.
The project is expected to be ready by the end of 2015.
It should be noted that Kabam and Disney’s Marvel Entertainment already have experience of cooperation: the Marvel Contest of Champions game will appear on mobile devices this month.
