The action of the game Star Wars: Uprising will unfold between the events of the films “Episode VI: Return of the Jedi” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.
The genre of the project is already known – RPG. The user will be able to create a customized character, and then download it. In a press release from Kabam, they claim that it will be possible to both complete single missions and participate in a large-scale battle by assembling a team of your own characters.
The game promises a cooperative – an opportunity to fight with friends against the Empire in real time.
Now the game has entered the beta stage, and pre-registration is open for it. The authors of the title promise that players will be able to directly “influence the creation of the game universe.” Prizes are promised for pre-registration and participation in surveys – such as the helmet of an imperial stormtrooper (although they do not specify whether it will be real or virtual).
The developer of the game will be Kabam RPG Studio in San Francisco. In her piggy bank is the game Spirit Lords, which won in the nomination “Editors’ Choice” (Editors’ Choice Award) in the App Store.
The exact release date was not called, Kabam indicates that it will be released “in the near future.”
