The game received high press ratings and set a record online on Steam. However, CD Projekt RED did not report anything about performance problems on consoles of the previous generation.

Players’ reactionShortly after the release, a lot of screenshots and videos from users who played Cyberpunk on PS4 and Xbox One appeared on social networks.

It is not known what percentage of people launched the game with the patch of the first day, but the picture and performance in the videos are depressing.

Many players report FPS drawdowns, environment elements loading on the move and cars. Users also complain about friezes, image breaks, lack of textures for characters, crashes and a lot of bugs.

In the branches, you can find a lot of complaints about performance and other technical shortcomings.

“Played on my basic PS4. It’s like I’m playing a bad PS3 game. I am very disappointed.””The game is just trash on PS4 Slim.

It is unplayable. This is one of the most terrible looking games for PS4″”I’m playing on Xbox One S, and it hurts.

Why is it so soapy? It looks like my character needs glasses.”What does the press write about the problems?

The authors of Polygon watched several streams of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4/Xbox One.

For some players, cars appeared out of thin air, for others, the game hung up while skipping dialogues. Overall, the performance left much to be desired.

Kotaku compared the picture on Xbox One and PC with the RTX 2070 Super graphics card to show a clear difference between the different versions of the game. At the same time, the author of the publication notes that the project looks great on the Xbox Series S.

He believes that Cyberpunk 2077 has the same performance problems as the console versions of Skyrim and Far Cry 3 for PS3 and Xbox 360. The only difference is that in the CD Projekt project, the picture is still better and there are fewer frame breaks.

“This game takes us back to the last generation, and this is not good,” Linneman believes and says that the developers should have canceled the versions of Cyberpunk 2077 for PS4 and Xbox One altogether.
