Igor Matsanyuk, founder of the IMI Foundation, announced work on a new game. There are few details about the project yet. Apparently, the upcoming title is focused on online battles and visually resembles a series of turn-based strategies Advance Wars.

Matsanyuk announced about the work on the new game on September 24 on his Facebook page. At the same time, he presented a landing page on the domain War.ru .

As some representatives of the industry noted in the comments, they expected to see “those same tanks”. Matsanyuk himself later shared a small video with the prototype, writing: “It might look like this.”

In the video, the gameplay really kind of resembles the same Battle City for the NES. Players control military equipment by fighting each other on the same map. The video also draws a parallel with the series of turn-based strategy Advance Wars from Nintendo. Despite the visual similarity, the main emphasis in the prototype is on the online component and real-time battles.

Igor Matsanyuk is the co—founder of IT Territory, former president of Astrum Online Holding and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Game Insight. Today he is best known as the founder of the In Mobile Investments (IMI) investment fund.
