Apple has posted lists of the best App Store apps for 2020. The game of the year on the iPhone was Genshin Impact. In other game categories, Dandara was noted, among others: Trials of Fear, Legends of Runeterra and Pokémon GO.

Previously, the editors of the App Store, when choosing the best applications, relied on criteria such as high quality, innovative technology, creative design and ease of use. This year, Apple also started from the criterion of “usefulness” — how much games helped to distract from the COVID-19 pandemic.
