Genshin Impact reached a new peak of popularity last week. Its official Discord server has gained an audience of 800 thousand people – it is simply impossible to do more. As a result, the authors of the game from the studio miHoYo had to open a second server for her.
The developers announced the launch of the new server on Twitter on July 28. At the time of writing, almost 153 thousand users have already joined it.
Dear Travelers,
Our Genshin Impact official Discord has been at max capacity for quite a while. Now we are happy to announce that our second Discord server, the Genshin Impact Tavern is now open, Paimon can't wait to see you all there!https://t.co/ntH0UTx5Jb

According to The Gamer portal, Genshin Impact became the third game to run out of space on the official Discord server. Before her, this happened only with Minecraft and Fortnite.
Recall that Genshin Impact released update 2.0 on July 21. It added new characters, weapons, quests and another location to the project — the Inazuma Archipelago. There is also a cross-regression function with PlayStation. Perhaps this influx of users to Discord is partly due to this patch.
miHoYo plans to release the next update in September.
