Publisher and developer Square Enix has released an updated Final Fantasy IX game on iOS and Android.
The original version of Final Fantasy IX was released in 2000. According to Square Enix itself, the title has sold 5 million copies. The mobile version differs from the original source by the control adjusted to touch devices and partially redesigned graphics. The faces of the characters became clearer, and the backgrounds became brighter. In addition, there was a system of achievements. The rest of the game remains the same.
The release of the updated title took place within the framework of the strategy announced by Square Enix. Recall that in October, the company announced its intention to revive old projects on mobile.
The cost of the title in the App Store is 1,290 rubles, the same in Google Play. Judging by the reviews in the Russian-speaking segment of the Android store, users think this price is too high.
It is noteworthy that the mobile version was released earlier than the PC version. The date of the game’s appearance on Steam is not yet called.
