The British studio Codemasters will close its own branch in Malta, which has developed a free-play card butler Battle Decks.
According to the Eurogamer resource, the reason is that the indicators of titles produced by the branch do not meet the expectations of the company.
Codemasters will focus on racing titles. “It was interesting to try myself in other projects besides racing games. But we still love racing in all forms,” a company representative commented on the news.
Recall that recently it became known that the studio will release a mobile game based on the Micro Machines racing series.
Despite the fact that the Battle Decks support team will be disbanded, the game will remain in stores.
