Boomlagoon studio, which is headed by the author of all the original birds from Angry Birds, has announced its second project – Monsu.
Monsu is a mix of a platformer and a collectible card game. The main character of the project is the monster Monsu, who is trying to return the treasures, destroying everything in his path. In this he is assisted by companions – other monsters. Companions can be collected. The assembled team (Monsu plus three monsters) can not only ruin villages, but also participate in battles with other teams.
Is it worth believing in the success of the project?
Time will tell, but we remind you that Boomlagoon was formed by the leading server programmer and the leading artist of the original Angry Birds two years ago. During this solid time by mobile standards, the company released the failed Noble Nutlings, an unsuccessful copy of Bad Piggies with squirrels instead of pigs, and its PvP version of the LINE Nutlings Tournament.
A month ago it became known that 360 Capital Partners, Inventure and Northzone invested $3.6 million in the studio.
