The Battle Royale of Apex Legends, developed by Respawn and published by Electronic Arts, continues to develop and gain popularity (albeit not as actively as at the start). Now the game has overcome an important milestone of 100 million players.Developers from Respawn announced this achievement on Twitter.
The studio published a short video in which it showed a cut of streamers playing Apex Legends and hinted at a new map and character.

In just a month, Apex Legends attracted 50 million users. By October of the same year, the game had surpassed the mark of 70 million players. To gain another 30 million, the royal battle took a year and a half.
Apex Legends is now in its eighth season, and the project itself is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Electronic Arts also planned to release a mobile version of the shooter.
