A new game from King, the authors of the sensational Candy Crush Saga, has been released on mobile devices.
At first glance, Diamond Digger Saga is the same three–in-a-row game as King’s previous creation. Upon closer examination, nuances are revealed. The gameplay is complicated by additional levels-within-a-level. To move, you need to fill the space with gems with water; it strongly reminds us of 4 Elements II from the Vologda studio Playrix.
The application was first launched on Facebook, and the developers took this into account: game progress can be imported to a smartphone. Diamond Digger Saga also has the opportunity to compete with friends on the social network.
Let’s add that the game seems to have every chance to repeat the success of the previous King project: it is in the top 20 highest-grossing Facebook apps. The number of MAU exceeded 8 million, including, probably, due to the fan base prepared by the release on social networks.
