The system, according to its creators, will collect data from the game, send it to the “cloud” service and then, after segmentation and analysis, output it to the Unity Analytics Dashboard.
Here is a list of what the analytical system is able to measure:
- the number of DAU and MAU;
- user retention rate (including for 1, 7, 30 days);
- percentage of players who returned to the game for a certain period of time after the first session;
- ARPDAU and ARPU.
The creators of Unity Analytics shared that the system was based on the development of Playnomics, an analytical platform that Unity acquired last spring.
