Hong Kong-based Animoca Brands has summed up the financial results of the first three quarters of 2021. The company specializing in NFT is doing well. Among other things, she said that from September to November, the value of her digital assets increased more than fivefold — to 22.57 billion Australian dollars ($15.87 billion).

Important: in the report, Animoca Brands did not compare the current data with last year. But in January, she published another financial report, in which she disclosed some of the indicators for the first ten months of 2020. Speaking about the dynamics of the company, we will rely on it.

Key data

  • As of September 30, all digital projects of the Hong Kong company (according to CoinMarketCap) were estimated “only” at 4.13 billion Australian dollars ($2.9 billion).
  • From January to September 2021, users spent 184.4 million Australian dollars or $140 million in Animoca Brands projects. For comparison, in the first ten months of 2020, the volume of receipts (bookings) amounted to 34 million Australian dollars or $ 26.3 million. The growth relative to that period is 442.3%.
  • Animoca Brands also highlighted a “different” profit — profit from both the company’s digital projects and investments. It amounted to 697.6 million Australian dollars ($529.6 million).
  • At the end of September, the company had 205.6 million Australian dollars ($148 million) on its account, which is 1068% more than last year. Note that of this amount, only 49.9 million Australian dollars ($35.9 million) were cash, everything else was in the form of BTC, ETH, USDC, BUSD, BNB, USDT tokens.
  • In addition, Animoca Brands has savings in third-party tokens (such as AXS and FLOW). At the end of September, they were estimated at 633.2 million Australian dollars ($456.3 million).
  • According to the founder of Animoca Brands Annus Mirabilis, in the three quarters of 2021, almost all of the company’s projects “have made noticeable progress.” Including The Sandbox, REVV Racing, Crazy Defense Heroes, Lympo, nWay and Quidd.
  • At the end of the report, Animoca Brands recalled the $65 million it raised in October. After that, the Hong Kong company’s valuation was $2.2 billion.

“The year 2021 was extremely successful for Animoca Brands and for the concept of the metaverse as a whole. Worldwide, sales of NFT — the main component of the metaverse — reached $13.2 billion in the first three quarters (last week alone they amounted to $293 million). The growing demand for blockchain applications and the growth of NFT sales are important factors not only for Animoca Brands, but also for the entire movement supporting the metaverse,” Mirabilis said.
