A new leader has been found on the Odnoklassniki gaming platform. He became the co-founder of the studio Star Island Games Evgeny Polotnyanko.
Evgeny is familiar with the game direction of Odnoklassniki. He has been working with the platform for the last 10 years as the head of Star Island Games. As Evgeny said on his personal page: “Over the years of working with the platform from the side of the game developer, I have repeatedly been convinced of the professionalism of the guys (from Odnoklassniki). Now we will develop the gaming platform together!”
Under the leadership of Evgeny, the development of the mobile direction of Odnoklassniki will continue. He will also work with the authors of HTML5 games, including their involvement on the site. According to Evgeny, mobile social titles will remain a priority.
He also mentioned the future “gamification” of other social network services, writes InsideOK. This means that the game direction will gradually cover various Odnoklassniki services.
Let’s add that Star Island Games in 2011 released its largest game on the platform — “Oasis”. Its peak DAU in the social network exceeded 300 thousand users.
